I'll be honest with you. I'm terrified of heights.

Knee-knocking, watery guts, damn near whimpering type of terror.

So what the hell have I gotten myself into?

Truth be told, I've always enjoyed confronting my fear of heights: Theater work, Bungee jumping, roof tops, etc. My desire to celebrate changes in my life always leads me to funny ideas. In this case, combining a Maltose Falcons' Festival with a bit of harmless skydiving fun. Check out the photos of my first jump.

As of the writing of this page, I'm geared up for ground school and preparing for my first AFP jump. I've been jumping with SkyDive Santa Barbara in Lompoc, CA.
