The Setup: In the Beechum family, trivia is bloodsport. Bragging rights always lay on the line. Every year at Christmas, my mother buys the latest version of Trivial Pursuit and we sit down and thrash each other. In high school, I was such a trivia nerd, I captained our Quiz Bowl team. I even received a varisty letter! Ha! What a dork! I auditioned for the Teen Jeopardy Tournament, but failed miserably in the game play portion of the audition.

The Start: A little over a year ago (December 2006), my girlfriend, Amy, encouraged me to finally get off my duff and re-apply. After all, I live in LA, the show tapes in Culver City, so it was just a day off work.
